Randell Dorling Limited (RDL) was formed in 1998 as an associated company of Blackmore Borley Limited (BBL), a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) registered Lloyd’s Broker, to implement the first online insurance facility specifically aimed at the needs of self-employed contractors.
We offer additional products such as Worldwide Portable Equipment, Business Interruption, Personal Accident and Directors and Officers Insurance, and have specialist schemes set up for people working in the Oil and Gas Industry (onshore and offshore), Railway Workers, Aircraft Engineers, as well as our original schemes for IT Contractors, Engineers, Management Consultants and Finance Professionals.
Our objective is to provide the most comprehensive, cost effective insurance for independent professionals and self-employed contractors.
We monitor and predict the changing needs of our clients and develop our schemes to provide appropriate cover in their changing circumstances.
IR35 – What’s all the fuss about?
RDL created the concept of insuring contractors to enable them work as freelancers outside IR35.
